Hey everybody! I want to put new pickups in a P-bass I have I was wondering if i could get a thread started with different points for various ones? I would be interested to know some personal preferences and such. I was looking at the Fender 62'sbut I am not sure if that is the best road.

Precision Bass pickups

I have several Jazz basses and have had P's in the past.Trying to find better pickups and tried 62s on the jazz and they were weak in comparison to Fender custom shop 60s. Also tried a new Fender American STD precision at Guitar center with Custom shop 60s in it ( Standard now in a Amer std ) and found the sound a gigantic cut above all of the stock pickups that I had tried in P's in the past. Of course there are many bassists who love Nordstrands and Lindy Fraulins.
