Precision vs Jazz?

hey, haven't been here in A while, sorry, been celebrating Christmas, new years, stuff like that. Anyway, I'm looking to buying a new bass. I'm thinking a Jazz or precision. I have recently visited GuitarCenter and played tons of different Squiers and fender P's and J's. I like the Squier Matt Freeman precision. Never played it though. I have been looking at reviews, and they're all good. But I want to see it for myself. I am also looking into Jazz basses, I've got humongous hands, and I do not like the thinner neck.

What's your take?
