Since I bought (on sunday) the stickers have come off already. I don't think they were on very long because they have not left any marks on the bass.
I will probably take it to my local tech to have him help me with cleaning the fretboard and talk to him more about cleaning the pots and changing the strings.
There is not question that this thing will travel in a hardshell case but I will definitely be gigging with it regularly and it's scheduled to be recorded on my next album. Part of the condition of me buying from my friend was that he wanted me to keep it alive for his grandfather. As you can imagine I had no problem agreeing to that condition.
The Combo of that and the B15S is incredible. Not which mic is on it in that photo. I'm not a sound guy. I do know they've been using just a 58 on it lately and it sounds good. The bass through the avalon preamp sounds incredible too. I think in the house they've been running 60% bass --> avalaon / 40% bass --> b15s --> mic.
