PreSonus interface (pick an interface for me)

I'm putting together a basic laptop-based recording setup. Nothing fancy, nothing professional, just something to record myself with from time to time. I'm tired of missing ideas that I never remember, and I have friends putting out their own stuff online who I keep disappointing by not being able to add bass tracks to things they send me, and given current circumstances we're no longer playing in person. Eventually they'll stop asking. :(

I'll be recording bass of course, direct or through the XLR line out of a Fender Bassman or SWR amp, possibly through a Line 6 HX Effects, plus some guitar and a bit of synth.

I've had recommendations for the PreSonus AudioBox iTwo

But right next to it, for the same price, is the PreSonus Studio 24c

I'm new to this and at a bit of a loss. How do the two of them compare? Which one is better suited to my needs? More to the point, they're the same price so which one is easiest to use and sounds better?

I cannot speak for the iTwo, but I just received the 24c last week. It is a basic interface and the quality seems to be pretty good. One thing I learned after I received it (shame on me for not researching a little deeper) is that it is not supported by IOS devices if you were looking for something flexible in that aspect. It works great with my Mac though.

I believe, those two are rather similar in terms of workflow and performance. The only difference is real meters on Studio series, for me that's really useful. Studio series should have cleaner preamps, but personally didn't try them.

If your goal is to connect to your computer only, get the Studio.
If you have an iPhone and would like to connect interface to it, get iTwo and sacrifice metering and possibly more quality preamps.

I'm not an Apple@ guy, so I'm using it for pc. Thanks for the replies! I"m going with the 24c solely for the USB-C connectivity. That frees up a standard USB 2.0 connection on my computer if I need it. The 24c appears to be simply an upgrade to the iTwo, with the addition of the USB-C and LED meter.

Now for the Super-n00b question: For connecting the DI lineout from my amp, I need what? XLR male at the amp end and XLR female to the interface? Or 1/4"?
