It is with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I list this Marleaux Betra 5 for sale/trade. It is without a doubt the best instrument I've ever played and the most beautiful instrument I've ever seen. There's nothing more to say to describe it's flawlessness and beauty. Marleaux is easily one of the best builders in the world.
It's in flawless condition save for one small, almost unnoticeable blemish on the side of the fretboard. 34” scale. 17-19mm adjustable string spacing, 7.2 lbs. It's extremely light weight and sounds incredible. It has Aguilar DCB pickups and Marleaux's proprietary preamp, with an active/passive switch. Everything works perfectly. The nut and bridge accept both normal and double ball end strings. One of the pics makes it look more yellow than it is (the pics of the back and front close up are more accurate to what it looks like). To purchase one new today with these specs would cost just under $6200.
I prefer a sale, but as far as trades go, I'd prefer something lower in value + cash, but am always open to hear whatever you have to offer. I'm happy to trade for something of any value (higher, equal, lower), however, and am willing to go +/- cash as necessary.
