I need to sell a 2016 Mensinger Cazpar 5-string short-scale (30") bass in excellent condition. The instrument features a mahogany body, very fine high-gloss eye poplar top, one-piece bolt-on maple neck, and 22-fret maple fretboard with a zero fret and abalone dot inlays. Electronics consist of Domanski J and MM pickups, with eye poplar covers, and a 2-band EQ with an active/passive push/pull pot.
The only flaws or blemishes in the instrument are some slight playing wear on the back of the body, a small dent in the finish at one corner of the top of the headstock, and some faint scratches at one edge of the control cavity cover, all of which I have photographed below.
The bass is currently strung with a brand new set of DR Sunbeam SNMR5-45 (.045-.065-.085-.105-.125) nickel-plated steel round-core roundwound strings. And, although they're used, I'll be happy to include also the Dunlop Super Bright DBSBS45125S (.045-.065-.085-.105-.125) stainless steel roundwound strings that I installed when I bought the bass. It comes with the original stock Maruszczyk gig bag. An equivalent new build today would cost approximately €2,030 ($2,225).
