    This is a late 80’s Foundation 5 with the Super Ferrites. You don’t seem many fivers with the SF’s and they sound great and the bass plays like butter. The finish isn’t in great shape, there’s a decent amount of wear throughout and some small scratches and marks.
    Weight is about 8.8 on my bathroom scale and string spacing is pretty tight. I would guess no wider than 17mm.

    Comes with the original hard shell case in kind of rough shape, but still does the job.
    No trades on this guy.

    Curious how this compares to the one I just grabbed from you. Seems everyone prefers the SFs

    Awesome. Seems like the SFs are much more Jazzish and the VFLs almost have a Tbird flavor to them. Dig both!
