This is a fairly rare bass, the US Masters EP-42. These are terrific passive basses with really wonderful humbucker pickups. The neck is birdseye maple with a pau ferro fingerboard and 24 frets. The truss rod adjusts at the body end with a special wrench that's included in the case. The body is a flame maple back with a flame maple top and a clear gloss finish – very nice. The controls are volume, blend, and tone pots. The two mini switches alter how to tone control works, please see the pics. The tuners are Sperzel locking, really great tuners that work smoothly and make string changes really fast. The bridge is a Hipshot B, and the pickups are proprietary US Masters made by Bill Lawrence. Overall condition is excellent but it has been played so there are minor tiny dings and scrapes. Weighs 8.5 lbs and comes in the original cream tolex hardcase.
