Details

This cabinet is 47 lbs of absolute tone goodness. It is the first-generation UL310 with the Epifani signatures on the speaker cones (I am 99.9% sure that they are B&C drivers). It has the hard covering, NOT the "rat fur" used on later generations, and is rated to handle 750 watts of power, but Nick Epifani told me "it will handle much more". In the few years that I have owned it (I'm the second owner), it has been out of my music room/studio at home exactly once and has never been pushed very hard at all.

As you probably know, these three-speaker cabinets are rated at 5.3 Ohms impedance, so whatever power your amp is rated to deliver at 4 Ohms should be reduced by about 1/3 to calculate how much power you will be delivering to this cab (for example, my Mesa Walkabout head is rated at 300w into a 4 Ohm load, and it delivers about 210 watts into this cab, and my Mesa M9 Carbine, which is rated at 900w into a 4 Ohm load, delivers somewhere around 600 to 700 watts to this cab).

Here's a photo to get things started; I will take more when I dig the cab out from behind some of my other studio gear. I am likely the world's worst digital photographer when I am forced to use my old (12 to 15 year old) digital camera, but my newer digital SLR camera is broken, so this is as good as I can do.

I am in the Philadelphia-Trenton, NJ area and I will travel up to 3 hours (NYC/LI, NJ, Delaware, Baltimore/Washington, DC, etc.) to deliver the cab. If you want it shipped, it will probably add about $100 to the cost!

I have a series 2- probably the best sounding cab I'll ever own.
I run both a walkabout or an M3 carbine into it (300 watts@4ohms). Because of the efficiency of the cab, I've never needed more power yet.
Great piece of gear.

Please PM me if you would like better pictures ... I am not at all happy with the results that I am getting with my old (and I mean VERY OLD) digital camera!

I am motivated to sell this cab before Labor Day weekend, and will negotiate the already-low price, especially if I don't have to ship it!

I hope you have good luck with your sale @funkyjudge. I'm selling one locally in California. It's been slow going...

That is very true! The Epifani cabs, including the 310, are very efficient and mine also sounds great whether I am running my Walkabout head through it or if I was running the 900-watt M9 Carbine head through it (at about 710 watts into that 5.3 Ohm cab).

I am interested Doug, just waiting for a check to arrive...I will check in later this week asap. JM

Since it has been 11 days, I am assuming that one of the following has happened:

1.) You never received that check, or

2.) You no longer want this Epifani 310 cab.

Please advise which it is.

Thank you.

OOPS, I just noticed that you are in NC (as are a few of my family members); I suspect that there may be a third option, and that is that you are busy preparing for and/or evacuating from the path of Hurricane Florence. Be safe!!!

Hey Judge! :-)
We are back in NJ actually...My youngest son stayed behind and everything is cool with him. As far as the cab, I am still interested but having to wait and will not be in a position to do anything for a couple of weeks. Would you accept a partial payment if things don't move as quickly as I would want?

Yes, I would accept a partial payment, if that becomes necessary.

Do you come up to NJ very often? If so, and if we could meet in-person for me to deliver the speaker cab to you, you could save $50, because I woudn't have to put up with the nuisance and cost of shipping it.

Doug we are actually in the process of relocating to South Jersey. We still have stuff in storage out of state hence one reason for the back and forth trips. I will be here in Jersey for the majority of the next couple of months and could easily meet up with you. I had a Epifani T210 that I regret selling last year. :-(

JM,

Please send me a PM so that we can discuss this cab and your interest in it (assuming that you are still interested)! I have another potential buyer, and he wants me to meet up with him in the Washington, DC area the end of next week and the beginning of the weekend (9/28 - 9/29).

If you send me a PM, we can also exchange phone numbers, and I will be happy to discuss any details regarding the Epifani cab, a deposit to hold it, etc.

Thanks,
Doug
