This is a great cab! I think it is actually lighter than 22lbs! It’s 15lbs! Definitely a one hand carry and sounds great! It’s become my favorite cab!

Well mine is the "1.5 generation", meaning same as original run but the handle was moved to a better position. Currently in production is the 2nd generation with fabric grills - lighter weight (15lbs), but less protective than the metal grills that I prefer. Austin Guitar House lists weight of AT210 at 22lbs, but I'll try to get a more accurate weight of mine specifically to verify.

I heard these at NAMM a few weeks ago and was seriously impressed. I’m a real fan of the Genzler cabs but the weight of these plus excellent sound is causing GAS

I gig the AT212 and love it… Where is the handle, on top? I don’t see it in the pics.

The specs that GR lists for SPL and power handling seem almost too go to be true.
Could this be a single cabinet solution for a rock band without FoH support with a 500 watt amp?
Medium loud drummer, guitar and keyboards.
Also curious if this would pair well with my GR 112 (wood cabinet).

Web site says 17lbs for the metal grill, -10lbs than my AT212 with metal grill, great little cabs :thumbsup:

Rhetorical questions need experiential answers LOL - aren't you right around the proverbial corner anyway for a free tryout?
From what I've heard (haven't tried myself), these cabs impress for how similarly they perform to their wooden counterparts - hard to distinguish in A/B testing. The would lead me to say yes, but again hauling over your hefty wooden 112 would solve things once for all. :bassist:

I'd keep her but need the funds for a nice amp (preferably Thunderfunk), or to satisfy my curiosity about the Subway 115 or Fearless cabs...
