Private conversation formatting

When using an iPad in portrait, the message box is really thin. Regular posts and threads look fine. It’s just for private conversations. Am I doing something wrong or is an issue with the board?

Also, it would be nice to be able to use multi quote for interlineation in private messages.

It's not you or the pad. PM's are just very narrow boxes in this software, for some reason (probably all the participant info that loads on the sides, if I had to guess).
