Problem with my Ibanez GAXB150 finsh

As you can see i've remove the finish of my Ibanez GAXB150 (poopie-quality bass). I payed it less than 50€ but it's a very good bass, I use it every day.
My objective was to get natural finish, so I took my heat gun and I removed all the black finish. And this is the result.
I'm ignorant about this kind of things, what I should do now? Repaint it with another color? Or is there a solution?

If you stripped it to have a natural finish, why would you paint it another color? Did you think there was an interesting grain pattern under that black paint? Continue to march, tung oil, danish oil, or clear coat will get you to the finish line.

I used one of those necks (that is the 32” scale neck?) on a different body to get the medium scale. I like the neck.

For your question, if you want a natural finish wipe on oil or poly is going to be the easiest to do without spray equipment. There’s numerous threads here and in luthiers corner about applying those finishes with and without stain under them. My preference in oil finishes is TruOil but the others can work very well also.
