Problems intonating Pyramid flats

Hi

I have a problem with my Pyramid flats (long scale, 105-040).
The strings are hard to intonate properly all the way to the 12. fret.

Right now the E-string is in tune from 1st to 9./10. fret, then goes sharp and is very sharp at the 12th fret.

String defect? or is this something that happens with flatwounds? (I had almost the same problem with LaBella flats (105-045)

Has anyone else experienced something like this?

I had a similar issue with Pyramid black plastic flats - mainly with the G. Emailed them, they had one of their guys in touch in a day or so...sent me a replacement string, problem solved.

Flats should intonate with no problems..but you may have to move the saddles a bit. If one string seems off, then its probably a faulty string.
