Hey, folks! I'm wanting to learn how to make CDLCs for Rocksmith and thought this song has such an awesome bass part that it would be a great project song. Plus, I'm dying to play it, anyway. I've tried all the major tab sites (that I know of) and haven't had any luck finding it. If anyone has the tabs on this one I would sure appreciate a copy. If you've never heard it, check it out. Excellent bass line. Thanks to all who can share or point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the reply and videos. I have seen the top one before, but not the video on the bottom. I'll take another look at these and see if I can work out the tabs from watching frame by frame. I hadn't even thought of that.

Hi Mike - any luck? One of my favorite Idol songs. I'm going to try to tab it out too, using Riffstation and Audacity, and that Saulo cover, which is really good. I'll be glad to share if I can get it together. I've tabbed from Youtube before, slowing down the speed helps, but there's an AV discordance the more one does that. Might tackle The Right Way and Pumping on Steel after. Peace

Hi, Frederick! Thanks for the response. I wish you the best in trying to tab that bass line. I'm not musically literate enough to pull it off. The other day I was checking out Fiverr to see if there were any tab gurus on there who might be able to tackle it for me. I think I'll hold off a bit now and see if you have any success with it. I appreciate your offer to share what you come up with. Good luck with the next two on your list, also. After I get my hands on a good "Prodigal Blues" tab, I think I'll hire a Fiverr pro to tab Adam Ant's "Room At The Top" for me.

Mike - give this a go. The Saulo interpretation is very pleasant, but the lesson one seems more faithful: that's in Drop D I think, which gives the root low D, higher C, and transition G (his 0-3-5 fretting). The note structure in the second half of the tab is by ear - have fun with it. Peace
