Progressive songs with two guitars and no keys

I have a trio where I play guitar. We do Tom Sawyer and Subdivisions and I play the keyboard parts on guitar and it sounds fine.
Egg-zactly. How many bands have the instrumentation to play songs exactly like the original? Lead guitar, rhythm guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums, keys, vocals, background vocals, assorted percussion instruments and who knows what else. I almost always try to play as true to the original as possible (not saying anyone else should), but for me the first rule is that it has to sound good. Actually, that's the only rule!
