Project Odin. complete

[Bass.]

So i've been working on this bass for a few days.
It was originally a squier pbass. Then went fretless. (no picture)
then went ADGC. That took alot of cutting and drilling with the drill i don't have. The bridge had to be moved up a few inches to compensate due to guitars extremely small scale length. and that sticker covered the holes haha.
I started with removing the paint (with one unsuccesful idea) then went on routing a pickup slot, with all the appropriate tools hah. and then wiring everything. adding a new pot, learning how to "wire". and here it is.

I left the original paint around the edges. I thought it looked kinda cool

And i guess all of this was to find my voice. I'm keeping it around a standard tuned four string. but want a high C 5, if anyone knows of a good maker of one that would be greatly appreciated.

Sure hope the lines on the fingerboard don't screw you up when you look down. The moving of the bridge bungled all of that up.

I agree, moving the bridge was a bad idea, the fret lines are now completely off as the space between notes has become bigger because the scale is longer now.

Wait, you actually moved the bridge UP, didn't you? I'm confused now.

Ah, I get it now. A D G C = baritone tuning, at first I thought you had tuned the bass down.

To be honest when i first did it i didnt think about that. but then when i played it, i did feel it. but it didnt take too long to get used to it. it was just a little behind the fret markers. plus the sound and tension were horrible so the high c didn't last too long. i know currently have it running on my acoustic.

Yea i moved it up about 2 inches from where it was. But moved it back when it came to the PH pup scheme i'm currently rocking.
