I thought I would post this prototype design for a bass and see how well it goes over.
My thought was a 5 string, 24 fret 5 layer laminated neck-through of rosewood, with koa wings; triple humbuckers with three volume/coil-tap knobs along with a push /pull 2 band EQ, all set south of the bridge. You could put any type of pups, bridge, and tuners on it. These are just there for visuals sake, though I prefer the above configuration.
