P' Life is good!

Gettin' ready to light up the neighborhood with Eddy Corduroy and Steve Kinney. Had 6 or 8 socially distant neighbor couples show and hang. Nice to be able to spread some cheer!

House is at 73 degrees. Ambient outside was in the mid 90's. All my basses detuned a step after 30 min... Fine after that...

yeah I moved the basses out and closed the garage door before we got going.

@4Mal, that orange Lull is pretty sweet.

I was looking at the license plate holder on your rig. The Dallas? Wow. That’s where my Dad grew up. Blast from the past. :woot:
(Most of my family is to the South and East of there.)

The Lull is good. It will be better soon. I don't love the Nordstrand NP5. I'm either going with a Lull Spec'ed Duncan - if the Lull shop can get me one or Nordstrand NP5v.

The NP5 is hot, big, bold - not a thing I prefer. I can totally see why it is popular though. It has character and for more modern stuff, it probably makes a ton of people happy. I'm way more into a vintage thing. The Lull Spec Fralin split is wonderful. If they did a 5 string version... but they don't...

Now If Marco would wind me a pickup for it... His split in the N1 is like nothing else and fully in my wheelhouse. I gather that Marco isn't into building pickups other than for his basses though.

I have yet to play a Lull that wasn't just great! Mikes setup on the fretless really makes it shine. Between Marco and Lull, I have a hard time deciding ...first world problem for sure ;-)

Marco is and Mike was a wizard... and both of them just the nicest of people.
