Got a new Mighty Mite body today.The neck has been mounted once and the holes don't exactly match. A threaded insert kit is on the menu. I think I'm going clear oil finish on this one.

Those are nice! You gonna Tru-Oil it? I love that stuff.

Oh it is. I've tried lots of different tung oil finishes and that stuff works the best. Really fills in well and gets a really nice smooth finish. I have a hard time finding it around here anymore. The hunters snap it up quick.

I would like an alternative to the standard Jazz control plate. Does anyone make a Tele style with 3 holes? Also, I didn't want to use a pickguard. The front route is big and I may be forced to use one. Can anyone recommend something else?
