Punchy Bridge Pickup

I play a Spector ns4crfm and the bridge pickup is very weak. It is an emg p/j style with an active preamplifier. The pickups are active as well. I want to change it out to something punchy and clean, and maybe something like 70s jazz tone. I don't want to do much work. And I don't want to change the preamplifier either because I like the emg tone and neck pickup. Any suggestions?

Have you adjusted the pup height? Emgs are supposed to be close and the pj set compliments each other. Most j pup's in the bridge aren't very powerful. Keep the blend knob close to the center and don't crank it too far either way might help a bit too.
