I didn't even realize it was nailed down to such a specific date...some pseudo punk I am, huh :confused:

Without punk, I shudder to think what I would have been like in highschool. I spent so much time with Minor Threat, Black Flag, Fugazi, Bad Religion, and others from around that style/period, I was pretty much consumed by it. I guess I would have ended up a homie:eek:


EDIT: Not that there's anything wrong with homies...please don't shoot me

i wouldnt have to put up with Good Charlotte and Simple Plan. So thats a good things. But i would miss out on Sex Pistols, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, The Ramones, Black Flag, etc.

Without punk, alot wouldnt have happend. I dont think Nirvana would have been the same, they were basically post-punk. That would suck imo. Many things wouldnt happen in music if a certain genre never happend. But i think, with the progressive nature of music, if it didnt happen then, it would happen eventually. Its evolution baby!
