Purchase Darkglass Element ?

I’m considering purchasing a Darkglass Element. Any pros/cons. Or any other recommendations for headphone amp. Sweetwater has some nice deals happening now.

You can't go wrong with a Darkglass Element, love mine. It's an incredibly powerful tool with countless ways to shape your tone. It even improves with regular firmware updates. You can even record right off an Element because it's also an audio interface. Blending backing tracks is a critical way to practice & learn.

The preamp loaded in sounds kinda boring. It sounds better with the VT bass before. The parallel output being on the right side is not so pedalboard friendly.

Agree….really like using it for a small board, but the parallel out on the right left me scratching my head….otherwise it’s great, although I wish the headphone output had a bit more guts.

If you switch to IEMs - you will never go back. Shure SE535 - it's what every touring pro uses.

Mickeyb48 - I don't think you can go wrong with the Darkglass Element. Make sure you spend some time with the software and other things it can do. I am considering this for a band that does everything in IEM's - I need a simplistic cab sim and this fits the bill already.
