PUs and Preamp for Jazz Bass

Hey Folks,
I know you read this 1000 Times, but i hope you want to help me.

I´ve got a Fender Jazz Bass in Sunset Orange and I want to change the Look and also make my sound more thick und flexible.

So what Preamps and PUs could you recommend?

I thought on Bartolinis, Delanos and Fender SCNS.
As Preamp Noll, Audere or a J-Retro. What are youre Experiences with 2 oder 3 Band EQs?

The PUs should be stacked Humbuckers, Neck-Pu with a kind of Precision Bass Sounds, the Bridge-PU... Well, typicall Bridge-PU Sound.

+1 on the Delano JMVCs, BADA$$ rock tones. Aguilar, Delano, Nordstrand, Glockenklang all make killer 3 band pres, I hear the ACG is top quality too. What kind of sound are you looking for?

Thanks guys but I´m looking for a Preamp thats ready for Install in a Jazz Bass without milling the wood.

Any Experience with the LeFay Cristal Rough PUs?

What Sound? Difficult to describe, fat, clear, modern...
