Push Notifications???

I have the notifications turned on in my settings of the app but I dont receive notifications when I get a PM or when a thread I am subscribed to get a new post. An older version of the app used to notify me...Any ideas?

Has not worked for me (iPhone 5) since the switch to the Tapatalk based app.

Don't know if anyone is checking this thread but I also have the no notifications issue with the latest Android app. Please look into this as the app is almost useless without notifications. Maybe there's an option in settings but I didn't see it.

Edit found the option in settings and it was set to on. Toggled it off and on again maybe that will help.
