Double Bass putting a bass back togeather

my bass was hit by a car and the insurance company let us keep it once we got a new bass with the money and i was wondering how hard it would be to put it back together

i know it may not sound good but i loved the bass and am thinking of giving it a go

Sorry to hear about your bass :-(
My teacher's bass was dropped by Air China, but he's having it repaired. It's taking absolutely ages and it won't be the same as it was, plus its costing him a fortune in renting basses to play for the time being. If it is a significant instrument to you and you have the money to get it done then I think I would go sort it, but to be honest the only person who can tell you whether your bass is repairable is a luthier who has seen (the pieces of) it in the flesh and is so equipped to give you a good professional opinion.
Good luck! x
