Will be replacing the MXR with either a Boss DD3/DD7 or a Digitech Digidelay, just waiting for one to pop up second hand.
Also will be replacing the expression pedal with a Boss one.

Was forced to drop the DL4 and Russian muff when i got the Hog, so being forced to give the Swollen Pickle another shot.
Making do with an analog delay....(haaaate it) till i get a digital one.

eskimobassist - Here's the belly of the beast.

Note: I spent entirely zero seconds making it neat on the bottom, I pretty much just wired everything up top and slacked any loose cords around the "wing nuts". And, you might not believe this but there are 10 Hosa TRS cables under there for expression (that's 30 feet!)

The way the board is designed you place velcro (I use 3M dual-lock) on little plates then slip the plates through the holes and tighten the wingnut(s). when you want to move something you just loosen the wingnut. Very creative design.

I'm using the volume/expression board as a kickstand.

@ Waterpilot - I'm using the tuner out on the modded VP Jr., so it comes after the octaves/synth, dirt and filters. I haven't run into any issues with tuning speed or accuracy.

@ Vlad - That would be very cool, but I'd be WAY nervous playing next to Jean!

@ Jean - Even the underside of your board is just SICK!! I love the volume/expression board. Also, I'm crazy G.A.Sing for a aluminum-faced Faye Sing after seeing yours.

I like that 'modular' pedal mount system! How heavy does this thing end up being? I assume you have road cases?

After all the greatness Jean and Basehead posted, my offering is obviously not worthy but it's pretty much all I need so I'm pretty happy.

When I get the Carbon Copy to replace my Boss DD-3 and my Nimbus, I'll build a new board and tidy it up.

PT-1 is the bass board, in all it's glory. PT-Mini is all modulation, plus digital delay, and mostly used with synth. But, if I use a 3rd board, PT-nano, (not pictured), these 2 can be looped indivually from there. I think maybe no more changes for a while.

I've only spent a couple hours fidling with it but I'm loving it. I don't notice any lose in low end and I like how it goes from really low gain, light texture to very grindy. It's early but I'm thinking its gonna be my always-on OD and then use the b3k with it for grindier stuff.

Ok guys here is my meager offering. I figure I make up for a lack of "boutique-y" pedals by building my board into an old school powder blue Samsonite suitcase salvaged from my grandmothers garage.

Forgive me if this was covered and I missed. Is this a custom job? A particular company I might be able to investigate?
