New Looping/Ambient Board...
Here's a lowdown of the signal chain:
1.) Sonic Research ST-300 Tuner
2.) Walrus Audio Transit 3-Channel Loop Controller
a.) LOOP 1: Diamond Bass Comp >> One Control Crimson Red Bass Preamp
b.) LOOP 2: Darkglass Vintage Microtubes >> EQD Afterneath
c.) LOOP 3: Moog MF-104M Analog Delay Moogerfooger
3.) Pigtronix Infinity Looper
Notes:
1.) The Whirlwind direct box is a placeholder for a forthcoming Radial ProDI Passive Direct Box.
2.) The board itself was built by West Coast Pedalboards. I found it on reserve, bought it, and let it sit for a year while I acquired the necessary pieces.
3.) I can coax some beastly sounds from this setup with both my Lakland basses and my Warr Guitar.
4.) Everything is connected with EBS Flat Cables.
5.) Two of the pedals (the Moog MF-104M and the Pigtronix Infinity) have MIDI capabilities. I hope to connect the whole kit and caboodle to my Dave Smith Instruments Tempest once I have time to dedicate to learning another drum machine.
6.) The whole thing is powered by a CIOKS Schizophrenic (using lots of splitter flex cables). I mounted it to the bottom of the board using a T-Rex Engineering Power Supply Bracket.
I'll be playing a jazzy/ambient set at my friend's wedding during the cocktail hour. He wanted something "out there," so this is perfect!
