As far as I know, this is the only OD JGR has made. It is different than anything I've had before, but with my Dingwall SP5, it kills and stacked with my MBD-1, it's amazing. In fact, between the Gasoline and MBD-1, my VT and AO have been bumped off my board.

Delays + Loopers in Loop 1, Phase 90 in loop 2. Stereo volume pedal controls input to delay loop and expression control for either El Cap or PS 6. Mono volume pedal is expression control for the filter on the Scrutator.

Only other person I know to use a scrutator, you using yours like a wah with the expression pedal? Main reason I wanted it was for sample rate reduction but it's so versatile I feel I'll never use its full potential

I often use the expression pedal to do slow synth sweeps rather than 'wah'. Typically I run the PS6 an Octave down into it and sweep the whole filter range. It's absolutely huge, especially with a bit of delay. Another thing I do is to run the PS6 either 1 or 2 octaves up and use the expression to fine tune the filter to the point where it almost sounds like a wind instrument. It gives me the option of 'playing' the filter or setting it and swelling the volume. I've not played with the sample rate control much - you can see how low I've got it set - but I haven't had it long. Malekko hit gold with this one. Looking at their website, they seem to be sold out - mine was ex-demo from Thomann. There weren't any for sale in the UK.

At the time it was the only bit crusher I could find, but ended up using all the Other parts except the bit crushing... thinking I may need to have a go at it again. Creating some kind of foldover distortion or having a synthy sweep would be a dream to me!
