Great board. How do you like the Bassist? Those knobs are super sexy though.
I have the same pedal (with different knobs) and it's incredible.
It's finally finished!! Royal Blood inspired dual octave signal paths board 
Those MBD-1 sound so good but man it's big.
I run an nano board and there is no way that is fitting or bumping 2 other pedals.
I think it might be too wide for a nano board anyway.
Coming from the guy with the most beautifuly dirt packed board, it means a lot! Thanks!
I like it. Doesn't color my tone and react well with the distortion. I use the official Keeley setting for active bass. Works like a charm!
It is big because it sounds BIG!!! If the other pedals are dirt too, kick them out and use the Clean blend/Depth to sculp other flavor!
What's your signal path there??
Okay, I may be a little impulsive... but I think I'm moving away from Rats altogether and sticking with other more original distortion boxes. This is my current lineup.... until my recently ordered Nuñez Amplification Annex Bass Drive shows up...

I took the rat of my board too, decided I wanted some modulation.
Interesting. I'm on the verge of selling my Volt Thrower 125B. I've got more dirt than I need, and I'd like to snag a good phaser for doomy stuff. The only thing holding me back (as it did last time) is knowing I probably won't find another of the same if I regret it later. On the other hand, it seems like the VT has lots of cut, but all my other dirt seems to have better fundamentals/lows.
Get a Mooer Nintey-orange for like 70 bucks and keep the VT. Trust me it's a rad phaser for bass for very little money.
I've been looking at the Phase 90 and clones. The EQD Grand Orbiter also has my attention - it seems pretty versatile and sounds like it retains lows very well.
It does! I loved my Phase 90 too, but I love the Grand Orbiter for the versatility of sounds you can get.
The Grand Orbiter is short on demos, but the ones I've heard sound pretty good. There's also a great demo of the Mooer Ninety from a guy who plays a 70's jazz, which is in the ballpark of the tone I go for. Do you have any major pro/cons comparing the two? I like the versatility of the GO, but the small form factor of the phase 90 clones appeals as well. Do you find yourself using the tremelo quite a bit on the GO, or is it more about the tweakability of the phasing sounds?
