PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Pedalboard wired and tested!
This is an attempt at a semi-permanent board for my different bands, studio projects and solo project that I can control or program as needed via computer or netbook. I have all the pedals that accept USB commands wired to a USB hub that I can connect (Zoom, TCE and of course Source Audio). There are two spots I can sub in pedals as needed the EHX Hot Tubes and Ibanez FL9 Flanger fairly easily, a dirt or filterpedal as needed. I plan to replace the Mosky Xp with an Xotic EP as fun funds allow ASAP.
The signal path is =
Mosky XP > Mosky Loop Box >send -EHX Hot Tubes > EHX NYC BassBalls > Source Audio C4 Synth > Akai UB1 UniBass > EHX Mel9 > TRex Quint Machine > SA Aftershock > Ibanez FL9 Flanger > TCE Sub n Up Mini > return- JohnK FET-F2B (under shelf) > Zoom B3
Still need to do the computer testing and a bit of tidying up under the shelf but that's enough for today.

Latest iteration of my board- added the Meatbox, moved the Zuma and Hub underneath, and did my best work to date with cable management. Really happy with how it turned out.
Should be my last post for a while as i should be busy with this board for the rest of the week. 2 last minute changes went with the TC Spark mini and needed the Digi BSW for a funk dance jam thing brewing this Halloween weekend. Getting some wicked sounds with the combinations of pedals that will come in handy this weekend dropping some extended grooves between two drummers a beat maker/dj.

Readjusted my board somewhat from the last time I posted. About a month ago I started using my EHX Green Russian for my big distortion sound and really liked it. And then I saw an EQD Cloven Hoof for a really good price and snatched it up. Man that mids control is great. Other than that I'm very settled on the MXR Bass Chorus (flanger mode) and Carbon Copy.

Nice board! We have some very similar taste in noise making boxes. If you ever decide to sell the Quasar let me know... I've been chasing one for an eternity!
Jack plate from BTPA will be here tomorrow, but everything else is done now. (And no, those aren't my normal settings. Board was upside down on floor so everything has to be reset)

Ah, thanks. You've always got nice boards! I'll let you know if I decide to let the Quasar go. It's a great phaser. Particularly @ 18v. I tend to rotate the Oxide with a TFR on my board. Would love a decent Overdrive with a clean blend. Any recommendations? I have a PD-7 Phat Hed, and it sounds great but gets a bit squealy..
Thanks man. I've been on a lower gain overdrive quest recently too. ODs without a clean blend I've been trying in the loop of a Mosquite Blender. I liked the Fairfield Barbershop for low gain, especially with the sag control, but I'm finding I always want more drive in a band mix compared to auditioning OD pedals solo. For that reason I've been reaching for my small box Dunwich Wizard fuzz with the gain set low and the clean blend set quite high. I have a Free The Tone Black Vehicle but haven't quite bonded with it yet in a band context despite it being quite versatile, including covering similar ground to the Barbershop. Different basses make all the difference too. I've been playing my active Stingray in the band, which is a completely different beast to my passive Fender Jazz, which I use with my synth board. I'm starting to sort pedals into piles according to which ones play better with which bass

Cheers man, you've given me a bit to think about there. I try to replace stuff I don't get along with as a rule, wouldn't be a pedal hoarder really. There's a Hudson Broadcast for sale in my local classifieds. Ive read lots of reviews. Positives & negatives aside. I think I want one..
