Q About Phase 100 & Carbon Copy

Hey... I was just wondering:

1. Which one of the 5 MXR orange phasers is the best for bass guitar and why (post some samples/videos if you have it)?

2. On the scale 1 to 10 how do you think MXR phasers and MXR carbon copy work on a bass guitar (post only of you tried this)?

I'd give the EVH Phase 90, as well as the block Phase 90 (as opposed to the script) a 10 for performance, but I much prefer the sound of the Smallstone. The Carbon Copy gets a 10 in performance, and a ?!? in sound. I'm going to own one as soon as possible.

As far as the best MXR phaser, I can't give any opinions beyond what I just said. I've never been able to FIND a Phase 100 or a re-issue script.

Hey I tried the Nebula Phaser it was nice and subtle and i just baught the Mxr phaser 90 with the r28 mod still waiting for it though.

I've owned the block logo phase 90, with and without the r28 mod, script phase 90, and phase 100. My favorite for bass is the phase 100. Just sounds more appropriate on bass to me. Can get more funky or more mellow, definitely a little more versatile. They all have some cool tones though. I also own an MXR Carbon Copy and I think it sounds great on bass. I did some soundclips awhile ago, you'll find them if you search.
