Question About Sending Bass Through Computer Live

I'm not completely lost when it comes to computers. I have Garageband, Livestream, and a couple of other software options. I'm stumped though...

I am wanting to do more livestreaming with the bass. I understand I can record the bass plus other tracks audibly, however, what I'm wanting I can't seem to ask Google the right question...how do I run the bass track through the computer all while livestreaming the video?

Basically I want to get the great sound of the bass with my pedals to the viewer in a live format. I've seen people do this, and I've reached out to them but no answer. If anyone has any tips or can point me in the direction of a tutorial I'd appreciate it.

The answer I got from Vimeo/Livestream was a simple guitar usb plug, with Audio input enabled and delay down. But I don't think it's that simple. I've gotta test it again I guess. Seems like this is a tough one.

There's probably multiple ways to do this, but I would use a small mixing board - the output of this mixing board will the the audio feed for your livestream. The stereo (or mono) output then goes to your audio interface or PC's audio line-in. If you're using a recording interface, you may have to adjust the sound settings either on your computer or streaming software so the correct device is selected as your audio source.

Use the inputs of the mixer to mix your sound sources...either the mic from your bass cab or a bass DI box if you're using that. Another input for your narration microphone, and other inputs for backing tracks, ect....

If the camera you are using to live stream has a way to bypass the internal mic and plug in to your interface or gear that would be the best way to go provided you can dial in the latency to a usable level. If using a phone tho im not sure what you can do the mics clip far to easy.

If you're using a Mac you just have to go to the system settings and chose your audio interface as the input source. Ready.
