question about tapering neck throughs

one time I tapered the different pieces of the neck separately prior to gluing.

I thought it looked pretty cool and was tapered through the body. I'll try to find a picture of it.

I'd love to see a pic!

There is a guy who did something like this a few months a go here at TB.

it's always fun to do something like the 5 points neckswith Mahogany and Maple......5 points down in maple, and 5 points up in mahogany. Makes a very striking laminate set up, and is a great sales point. People always snap those up for twice that of a regular laminate neck.
