I’m looking at their jazz roundwounds that are 32”. My bass has a 30” scale. Will those strings work without winding some of the wound part on the post? Thanks for any info!

The measurement from ball to center of E string post is 34”. The bass is a Stingray short scale. Looks like there will be some wrapping before the silk.
Wondering if I should go with GHS BN or PW instead.
No, Jazz Rounds are 32’s. JR-432, it’s in the model number.

Nice! A direct comparison. How much of 'speaking area' of the E string did you have to wrap around the post? You don't seem to think whatever that was is a problem, so you really like how they sound on the SS Stingray? I just got mine and am itching to try different strings though what came with sound very nice.
