Question for CARVIN Owners

I have on Order 1 Fretted SB4001 and 1 fretless 4001.. I got the smallest frets available in SS. I have a P-Bass with the small vintage frets. Love em..

Well I know I wanted regular, med jumbo or jumbo but when I ordered I think only regular and jumbo were available in SS so I picked jumbo. Now all are available... I've just been reading sooo much about basses and since this is my first build I'm just questioning things. I currently have an Ibanez SR505 - not sure what fret size they have but I definitely wanted something larger than those.

My model was an LB76, I don't know if that changes anything in sizes available, totally forgot to add it to my last post. This was my first build as well, I am coming from an Ibanez BTB 676. I won't even know if I like the bass for another 7-9 weeks (I've just entered week 2 of my long wait) and I've never played a Carvin. I didn't think too much about it, I've bought a lot of used gear so I learn to adjust as opposed to complaining. I am looking forward to trying to narrow string spacing. I don't know if 5's are different spacing but my Ibanez is 17.5mm and the Carvin will be 16.5mm.
LOW WIDE frets!! They are absolutely wonderful. I can get my action the lowest of ANY bass I own.
Medium-Jumbo on one B40....
....and Low Wide on a second B40 which is on it's way.
I'm not big on Medium-Jumbo frets.
I prefer Low Wide or Vintage Frets. Vintage frets (like the ones on my MIJ Fender 70's P-bass reissue) are more low slim frets. They don't seem wide to me.
When I receive my new Carvin B40, I'll be able to compare the Carvin Low Wide frets and Fender's Vintage frets.

I purchased a used LB20 with Sperzels and a Wilkonson bridge. Super low action and the best $200 I ever spent on used equipment. I even got the hard case with it. I'm not sure what what frets are on it but they are stainless and fatter than my MIM Fender P Bass Special. No buzz and fun to play.
I got medium jumbo stainless in part do to this. I felt like they would be better for that type of technique and I've been happy with them for that purpose.
I ordered the first two SB5000's with medium but the third one has the JUMBO stainless.....and what a difference!!! First off I found that you can get the action much lower with the jumbo frets plus, if you are a slapper theres a tighter, rounder tone there. It's also fair to mention that the the first two had maple fingerboards and the third one has an ebony board.
Thank you for the info, Lo end PUNCH!! I appreciate it. I got the SS Jumbos with ebony... I'm a classical bassist so maple and ebony just 'seem right'... On electric I do like to slap although I do mostly finger plucking in my band. But I want a nice slap sound when I do it.
1997 LB75 here. I forget what Carvin even offered in fret options back then. They're a fairly tall fret,though.
