Question for SWR Amplite owners

I recently purchased a SWR Amplite. I am running a SansAmp RBI into it as a preamp.

My issue is that when I switch on the Amplite it will take anywhere from one to three minutes for the blue SWR light to illuminate and the amp actually turn on.

I am making the assumption that it needs time to warm up (We are having a brutal winter here in CT),
but there is nothing in the manual stating that the amp needs a warm up period. And when I'm at a gig, rushing to set up, not knowing how long it will be until my amp turns on is an issue.

I was just wondering if any other Amplite owners had a similar experience.

I recently had a HeadLite and it came on almost immediately. The AmpLite has no tube that I'm aware of and should come on right away.

This is true, no tubes. The manual does say that the Amplite will shut down if it overheats. But, nothing about a delay in turning on.

Something is not right for it to take that long to come on.

I just fired up my Amplite and it was almost instantaneous.

I am convinced mine is turning on based on the temperature.
In my basement, which is kind of chilly, it takes 45 seconds to a minute.
If I store it up stairs where the heat is up a bit, it fires up pretty quick.
Perhaps I have one that's a special case. Unfortunately there's no SWR customer service anymore for me to ask.

Sounds to me like there is something not right. I have a Genz STM-900 that has a 3 tube pre, and that only takes like 20 seconds to turn on.
