Double Bass Question for those with more than one bass

i have two basses, that boil down to a "good" bass and a "not-so-good" bass

i do have them setup differently, my laminate bass has obligatos on it and the strings are much lower. if i was to get both basses setup, i'd prefer them the same- i like what i like, and need to be able to use my basses for both orchestra and jazz playing.

I'm really leaning towards setting up by hybrid with gut strings, but I may wait until I have a new bridge cut.
