So tonight is the first time I will be sitting in with a band on an acoustic bass. I will be running it through a house PA via their soundboard. The bass will be hooked up through my Line 6 wireless system. I was unsure if I needed to have a DI box between the Line 6 receiver and the soundboard, or if I should be fine.

The bass is a Dean Playmate if that helps.

Which L6 wireless?
If the G50/G30, you will likely need to use a DI (since they have 1/4" outs) and then XLR to snake/console.
If you have a G90, it has XLR or 1/4" main outs... so you could go direct to snake/board using a standard XLR cable.

or... you could go 1/4 to 1/4 if the console is close enough (< 15 feet away) and accepts 1/4 inputs. If it does take 1/4", make sure that it can handle the 'line" level signals (some mixers have switch or a -10dB pad button) coming from your wireless.
