Perhaps I missed this somewhere in the forum rules.....

I understand links to spam in a signature is not allowed.....

What about a link to a persons own ebay listing? Is that allowed for supporting members, non-supposrting, etc?
(If I wanted to let people know I had a bass for sale)

Thanks ladies and gents.

As long as your a supporting member, and not selling the same items in the TB classifieds, this should be ok.

[EDIT]

Sorry, my goof. I just got done discussing this with the Classifieds moderators, and we've concluded that the 'no-ebay' rule in Classifieds needs to apply forum-wide, if it's going to be effective (sigs appear forum-wide). So the ruling is no links to personal or commercial ebay sales in your sig. Thanks for your understanding.
Classifieds Forums are provided for personal sales, however a Supporting Membership is required to post. Non-Supporting Members must also refrain from posting 'for sale' ads or links to ads in their profile signatures. Posting links to personal or commercial Ebay or other auctions is not allowed for any members, in posts, signatures, or elsewhere.
