I may be pulling the trigger shortly on the DB810 or possibly the DB412. I'm have a lot of cabs with 12's so I was thinking of the 810 for something different and the classic vibe. I play loud, loud, loud, mostly with a pick. I would imagine either will be cool, but I'd like to hear from folks with first hand experience with either or both.

talking to the dealer, it looks like shipping is a bit of a mess on these bigger cabs so i'm thinking DB2x12 + DB115...

What's the hesitation on shipping a new 810 or 412 from Aguilar? How else does any other customer anywhere else get their 810 / 412? If that's what you want, then that's what you should have the dealer order. Why is it your problem if shipping is a mess?
Anyway, that being said.... the DB115's are incredible cabs. I love them, but if want a tweeter (any treble above 3khz) you'll have to get something else... like a DB212 to go on top. :)

They checked with Aguilar because they were going to have the cabs drop shipped straight to me from Aguilar, but they weren't able to due that because that can create problems with dealers in my local area. So the cab would have have had to be shipped to them and then shipped to me. I would have been hit twice with shipping. I checked with my local guy and I would still get hit with shipping (and sales tax) if he orders it and I pick it up because it is so large and there is a premium. You don't get hit with shipping on the smaller cabs buying them from the store. The Perfect Bass was offering free shipping on the cabs I ended up getting so it it worked out well with the 10% off and no sales tax.

Those are monster cabs.
I have one DB410 and it kills.
Also have one DB112 and I actually like the tone of the 12" more.
I've always been a 10" speaker lover, but something about that 12 with my basses just speaks to me.

The Db412 is lighter too, It's a tough decision.

Got the DB212 and DB115. Should make for a nice little practice rig..

Not trying to be smart by not staying within your choices but I would say get either 2 DB410's or 2 DB212's... It'll be much easier to manage and you'll have the option to take just one cab for smaller gigs... And I don't know what you drive but if it's anything less than a truck or SUV you'd be hard pressed with and 810 or 412.

I have a DB212 and I can imagine it would be good enough to handle good sized venues... Let alone 2 of them.

Either way I'm sure it'll be awesome!
