Quilter V803 as clear clean power

On the BB-800 there is an XLR in on the bck that bypsses the front panel controls except for the Master Vol. Can I use the return
of the effects loop on the V803 the same way? 1/4" Out from the thru on my JDI or The 1/4 out from my Finally. If the return is pre EQ on the V803, I can just set it flat so that would not be a concern. My amp is most often just a monitor as I 'm in the mains or we are IEM the majority of the time.

Yes. I often run another pre into the effects return. The voicing switch does still have some influence on the tone though.

I just discovered this amp the other day, after not being interested in Quilter's previous models. It looks like maybe the best value out there right now.
