R I P June Pointer

    A great singer from a great group. Yes we can, can was a classic of smooth gospel harmonies in pop music.
     
  2. 'We are family' had the PERFECT bassline of all time. I don't know how much June had to do w/it, but she will be missed.

    That is too sad, but I pray she's at peace now. This prompted me to get on iTunes to listen to some clips. I just realized we did half of the "Break Out" disc back when I was playing Top-40 in '84 & '85. Fun tunes, think Automatic was my favorite.
