Rack lights -- not light racks

As a spinoff of my rack thread, http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f15/building-rack;-daydreaming-work-1010450/, I'd like some input on how to light it up like a Christmas tree to match my pedals.

All I've found are things like this and, well, these don't quite seem to fit what I'm looking for. Think over the top lighting. HELP!

Even non-rack alternatives may suffice, but not quite full DJ-type lighting.

Speaking of "just down the road" Link Removed is cheap, effective and readily available. Guys have been using the stuff in stage rigs of all sorts for years.
