Radial JDI MK3 questions

I'm looking to place a Radial JDI MK3 on my pedalboard to send my signal to the desk.

I've read many good reviews about the Radial JDI regarding the isolation from noise it achieves as well as the convenience from it being passive thus not requiring any phantom power or batteries.

One of my main concerns about it is the fact that it is passive. Since my signal into the JDI will be coming from a Lakland 55-02, Xotic Bass RC Booster and a Fulltone Fulldrive, I suppose it'll be a pretty strong signal entering the JDI. What I want to know is, would this signal be able to survive the journey thru the long snake ending at the desk? How would this signal at the desk compare to an Active DI?

Anyone out there with a similar setup, any comments?

A good passive DI is better than an active one IMO.

If you have a good transfo in the DI ( Lundahl , Jensen ) It's gonna be good ( usually! )

The role of a DI is to transform the load of your signal and make it a Balanced signal so that the signal can go hundreds of feet.
Any DI will do for the lenght of the snake , and a good one will not transform too much your Tone , like some active ones tend to do. ( again ; IMO)
