Radical, trippy, extreme pedals??

100% agree with you there. Love the tone this pedal makes, still haven't found a use for it in my bands songs. Even the rest of the band have helped try to suggest areas I could use the pedal but so far we've only been able to come up with cool synth jams with it.

A cool trick I've found is to use the synth settings and play just by hammering on/pulling off with my fretting hand. I find the sillyness of this pedal comes when you pluck a string,remove that and it's more useable.

There doesn't seem to be any currently produced clones or available schematics for the '?' or 'Warbulator.' The reason having something to do with being too much work for very little return, in terms of a small builder having to source the original unit to reverse engineer and then the serious amount of work and expensive parts that would go into each of those pedals, which were a bit more complex than some of his (lovetone guy) earlier designs, like the Meatball- ultimately making it tough to charge a reasonable price and make any money at all.

I'd believe that. The ? Flanger had so much going on that after 20 minutes I wasn't sure if I wanted to just give up on it or play with it forever. It did tremolo type stuff, can sound like a 10 or 12 stage phaser with high positive feedback, do pseudo ring mod sounds (like the Whetstone does - just basically a super high rate), and stuff that I've only heard the Pitch Pirate and/or Rand-o-Matic do. I had no idea how I would ever remember a particular sound I got out of it.

And that was without even touching the expression inputs.

doesn't the barracuda have an expression input? I know it's just one function, but it could work as a CV input, and MAYBE another could be added...

I just checked it out and indeed it does, and the guitar clips sound pretty damn good. Its worth looking into to see if I could get control over the regen. Any other good suggestions? Where can I find a current polychorus schematic?
