Radius on a 70's Precision?

Thanks for the reply. I think the 70's Jazz necks are 7.25 as well.

Would you say the 70's P's are 7.25 (you mention pre-CBS)?

A 70's P bass would have a 7 1/4" fingerboard radius. Same as a Pre CBS (Pre 1965). The neck shapes are different on 60's and 70's P basses though. The necks from the 70's tend to be chuckier.

I think the change to the 9 1/2" radius came with the introduction of the "American Standard" line in the mid/late 80's.
