I would, but it seems to be too much like work...
The real reason was that while watching the Grammys and all the P-basses she also read talkbass.com with all the pick-hate postings so she gave up on music.

No, picks aren't brutal enough. When I play metal I smack the strings with a sledge hammer. Unless I'm playing Van Halen, then I use a bottle of Jack Daniels.
