Due to unfortunate circumstances, I'm putting my beautiful and rare 1976 Ric model 4000 bass in Burgundyglo up for sale. Has the usual small bumps, dents and light scratches you'd expect from a nearly 50 year old instrument. This one features a medium profile neck similar to what you'd experience on a Fender Precision. Frets in good shape. Very powerful and thick sounding pickup. Some 4000 models by the mid 70's were routed at the factory by the neck, and this is one of them. So in essence, you can turn this 4000 model into a 4001 with a new loaded pick guard and neck pickup. Weighs an even 9lbs on my bathroom scale. Includes the original case with the elusive original case keys.
