Hi - thank you for your interest in this rare and beautiful beast! Listing my gorgeous 1995 Dolphin Pro 1 5 string. The bass is in really excellent shape. Low wear - only played out a few times. Only selling because of job loss. Features a 3-piece solid Boire wood body, a body wood Warwick used for its highly sought after mid-90's basses (changed to Ovangkol in late 90's to be more environmentally friendly). This is among the most acoustically “alive” sounding basses I own. Pluck a string unplugged and it’ll respond – loudly. Tons of growl, overtones and long sustain. Please let me know if you have any questions at all about this monstrous bass! 1995 Warwick Dolphin Pro I 5 - Made in Germany RARE Boire woods body Wenge Neck with Zabrano lamentations / Wenge Fingerboard (killer growl) Neck through design (amazing sustain) Brass Just-a-nut (tangy, lively response) Dolphin Inlays All original MEC pups and electronics All Warwick Gold Hardware (dig the “made in West Germany” logo – this was made when there was a West Germany haha) Neck is very straight, action is low and buttery Frets are in excellent condition – almost no wear Pots are newly cleaned Warwick Hard Shell Case See email with specs from Warwick below. I'll throw in the shipping if buyer pays by money order. Thanks buddy - yeah it's gorgeous. If I don't sell it, one day Im going to put a DarkGlass preamp in it. Now THAT would be world crushing bass tone haha! Seriously this thing sounds like an angry grand piano already haha.
Sale pending! Thank you for your interest Weight = 11.44 lbs for newer Ovankol Dolphin Pro's - and online forums say that the Boire weighs a little less. Never felt it was overly heavy. Extended upper horn helps with its balance.
