Rare bird indeed! We have a beautiful 1990's G&L L-1500. Blueburst over ash. P width straight neck with low action. Typical perfect G&L balance and playability. Cool wood binding on the body. The preamp and electronics were modified by a G&L dealer. The old preamp was noisy, too bright in active and too dull in passive so I had a new L2000 preamp and assembly installed. Tone-wise it reminds me of my Sterling when I put a Nordstrand alcino pickup in it. Musicman vibe without the scooped mid frequencies. It's a rock-n-roll monster!
Condition is good with a few very minor scratches and one ding on the upper horn on the binding. Weight is a svelte (for G&Ls) 9lbs. Comes with OHSC.
